Woodstock's 3rd Annual Plein Air Festival

The Old Court House Arts Center invites all artists to Woodstock, IL to participate in a week long Plein Air event. Beautiful Woodstock, features an historic New England style town square with many historic buildings, cupolas, bell towers, Victorian homes, tree lined neighborhoods and a vibrant farmers’ market, it has been chosen as the location for six movies, most recently “Groundhog Day”. In these gorgeous surroundings, the Plein Air Main Event will start with a quick- paint on Saturday, May 21. The main event will go throughout the week ending with judging, and awarding of cash prizes at a Reception on Saturday evening May 28. Registration deadline is Friday, May 14 with late registration May 15-27. Paintings will be on exhibition in the Old Court Arts Center through the end of June. Saturday, May 28 thru Sunday, June 26.
